Barak Durani Group, a highly successful and fast-growing contractor based in Kabul, Afghanistan is recruiting an experienced Estimator/Quantity Manager for the Kandahar City to Kandahar Airport Highway, a two year construction project.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

• Calculate, estimate, manage and refine all monetary costs and expenditures associated with the project, from the initial calculations to the final figures

• Ensure that project quality, compliance and regulatory standards are maintained at the highest levels

• Manage Budgets

• Analyze/complete designs

• Check invoices

• Prepare Work Schedule

• Seek to minimize costs of the project and enhance value for the money, while still achieving the required standards and quality

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor of Science (in civil engineering)
• 5 years' experience as an Estimator/Quantity Manager for road/bridge projects
  
• Strong attention to detail
• Methodical
• Ability to write precise reports
• Innovative and creative
• Good communication abilities
• Confident and able to work independently
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to balance priorities and coordinate work effectively in order to meet requirements
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Fluency in Pashto, Dari and English
• Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills
