Barbaricum seeks an experienced Aerostat/Tower FSR/Trainer to provide support to a deployed program under the Army’s Program Executive Officer for Intelligence Electronic Warfare amp; Sensors (PEO-IEWamp;S). This individual will be part of a team that will have a presence in Iraq, Afghanistan and the Philippines supporting the sustainment of Aerostat Tower systems and Persistent Surveillance Systems which will include support equipment, sensor payloads, and spare requirements. Support will include field service representatives (FSRs), reach-back support, integration, supply, maintenance, asset management, helium management and transportation support in order to support this critical Force Protection mission.Responsibilities
  • Manage all logistics, training, and maintenance for the Partner Nation Persistent Surveillance Systems (PSS) program.
  • Monitor delivery schedules and ensure performance requirements are met.
  • Assist with coordination of training events.
  • Support fielding and training for new systems, as required.
  • Provide weekly reports and participate in all weekly teleconferences as scheduled through PD Aerostats.
  • Provide all tools and diagnostic equipment associated with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of systems, as required.
  • Assist in site survey analysis.
  • Assist and provide expertise in the familiarization on aerostats systems.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 24 months experience with and knowledge of aerostats, towers, system subcomponents and support equipment.
  • Certification IAW a DoD or industry equivalent instructor course such as Army Basic Instructors Course, Small Group Instructor Course, Basic Instructor Course, Air Force Basic Instructor Course, or a civilian equivalent.
  • Three (3) years of hands-on experience supporting military logistics.
  • Two (2) years of operations or maintenance with any aerostat or tower platform.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language at the 10th Grade level.
  • Proficient computer use, to include the ability to understand spreadsheets, schematics, and detailed diagrams.
  • Ability to lift, move, and carry 35 pounds on a daily basis.
  • Ability to successfully pass a Security Background Check (Personnel Criminal Security Check [PCAS]).
