Duties & Responsibilities:
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The Office Manager is responsible organizing and coordinating office operations and procedures
in order to ensure organizational effectiveness and efficiency.

The Office Manager reports to the Senior Administrative Officer and is responsible for providing
office management services to the Office. This includes maintaining office services
and efficiency, supervising office staff and maintaining office records.

1. Maintain office services
??Design and implement office policies
??Establish standards and procedures
??Organize office operations and procedures
??Supervise office staff
??Monitor and record long distance phone calls
??Prepare time sheets
??Review and approve supply requisitions
??Liaise with other agencies, organizations and groups
??Update organizational memberships

Desired Candidate's Profile
5 - 10 years
- Master or University degree relevant to the position.
- Overall 3-15 years' experience.
- Technical and Designing skills.
- Dari, Pashto and English
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Excellent communication in English required.
- Experience in designing, implementing and advising on large corporate networks;
- The ability to communicate, negotiate, analyze, elaborate and present reports and statements
The incumbent must demonstrate the following skills:

Staffs at all levels have a responsibility for ensuring that risks are managed at work group and local level.
This process will include the assessment and effective control of all acceptable risk situations.

The Employee will have to spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers, which can cause muscle strain. The Employee may also have to do some light lifting of supplies and materials from time to time. .

The Employee may have to manage a number of projects at one time, and may be interrupted frequently to meet the needs and requests of residents, clients and contractors. The
Finance Officer may find the environment to be busy, noisy and will need excellent organizational and time and stress management skills to complete the required tasks.

Sensory demands include use of the computer, which may cause eyestrain and occasional headaches. The office may be noisy and busy making it difficult for the Employee to concentrate.

Significant stress is caused by the need to discontinue services to residents when necessary. The Employee will have to manage a number of requests and situations at one time. Stress may be caused by the need to complete tasks within tight deadlines.
