Job Description

Direct and manage project development from beginning to end. - Define project SOW statement of work collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. - Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. - Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. - Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project - Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle. - Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders. - Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel. - Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team. - Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. - Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. - Track project milestones and deliverables. - Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. - Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. - Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. - Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.

Subject to the technical capabilities with 3 months probationary period. Information Security and Confidentiality During the course of your employment you may have access to, see or hear information of a confidential nature and you are required not to disclose such information, particularly relating to DONORS or staff. All personal identifiable information must be held in the strictest confidence and should be disclosed only to authorized people. The unauthorized use or disclosure of donors or other personal information is regarded as gross misconduct and will be subject to the ACA Genral rules and in the case of computerized information could result in a prosecution for an offence or action for civil damages under the local law. As an employee you will be expected to maintain a high level of awareness and assist in the process of reporting incidents, assessing risks and reporting unsafe occurrences and co-operate with any investigation undertaken. Employees will be required to adhere to all ACA policies and procedures and attend statutory and mandatory training. Management WORKING CONDITIONS (The unavoidable, externally imposed conditions under which the work must be performed and which create hardship for the incumbent including the frequency and duration of occurrence of physical demands, environmental conditions, demands on one's senses and mental demands.) Physical Demands (The nature of physical effort leading to physical fatigue) The Employee will have to spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers, which can cause muscle strain. The Employee may also have to do some light lifting of supplies and materials from time to time. . Environmental Conditions (The nature of adverse environmental conditions affecting the incumbent) The Employee may have to manage a number of projects at one time, and may be interrupted frequently to meet the needs and requests of residents, clients and contractors. The Finance Officer may find the environment to be busy, noisy and will need excellent organizational and time and stress management skills to complete the required tasks. Sensory Demands (The nature of demands on the incumbent's senses) Sensory demands include use of the computer, which may cause eyestrain and occasional headaches. The office may be noisy and busy making it difficult for the Employee to concentrate. Mental Demands (Conditions that may lead to mental or emotional fatigue) Significant stress is caused by the need to discontinue services to residents when necessary. The Employee will have to manage a number of requests and situations at one time. Stress may be caused by the need to complete tasks within tight deadlines.
