Only 4 days Training Course on Monitoring and Evaluation- Module 1: Impact Evaluation
((4 days home based and 4 days at Kabul)
The candidate should be able to deliver/present the following:
i-Impact Evaluation as a means of quantifying the effects of programs on individuals, households, and communities.
ii- Results Based Framework - Outcomes and key performance indicators to monitor outcomes
iii-Appropriate Information System including Baseline Survey Design
iv- Levels of Information Collection and Aggregation
v.Quantitative versus Qualitative Impact Assessments
vi-Quantitative Impact Assessment: Ex-post versus Ex Ante Impact Evaluations
vii-Counterfactual Issues: With-and-Without Comparisons, Before and After Comparisons
viii-The problem of Selection Bias
The right candidate will be provided by security, and other allowances.
Job Specification
At least Masters degree from a recognized university or related institution in Water Resources Engineering or related discipline.
At least 10 years progressive experience in Irrigation system design, Irrigation agronomy/ crop production)
Adequate experience/ Demonstrated ability of conducting short term training courses in developing/under developed countries.
Fluency in English and good communication skills.
Minimum M.Sc. in Economics/Systems Analysis/Development Studies
At least 10 years of relevant experience in Evaluation of development programs, with minimum of 5 years experience as trainer
